The Dees are shown in blue and red lines. The polarity is indicated by the color and opacity. The Dees are fed with an RF: $$ V(t) = cos(t * \omega) $$ where $\omega$ is related to the cyclotron frequency of : $$ f = \frac{qB}{2\pi m} $$ and $\omega = 2\pi f$
