Arrival

I flew into Chicago O'Hare airport, rented a car and drove out to Batavia to spend the night at a hotel just outside Fermilab. In the morning I got some espresso and a small breakfast before heading to Fermilab. I had taken care of several trainings and endless paperwork to make sure I would be able to get on site. I didnt have a badge though, so at the gate I told them I was a colloquium speaker and they directed me to Wilson hall. I got a visitor badge, but somehow I was too far into the system and therfore was not allowed to use that. So I spent about an hour doing all of the trainings needed to get a full badge!

Fermilab Experimental Tours

My host was most hospitable and had arranged a very full day of tours at various places around Fermilab. I got a chance to see the Muon g-2 Experiment, the Quantum garage, and a few dark matter experiments.

I gave my talk in the same room I had been to many times before as an undergraduate during my summer at Fermilab.
